Bad photo :(

The old labels are 9.0s and I plan on sending in the 36 and 41 to CGC soon (along with the 38 for a grade bump). This was a total pleasure building this run. Still need 46, 47 & 48 but the funds aren't there.

Awesome group shot. :cloud9:

I've been wondering why TOS books have become more expensive compared

to this title and it seems Captain America isn't that popular with many

collectors. Do any of you feel it's because the SA Sub-Mariner might not

be that popular either?

I think both titles are awesome with many great books and great covers.

The TTA 59 and 81 are Beauties!! :luhv:

I always found Ant Man/Giant Man to be mega lame.

I also thought that a Cap/Iron Man book was more interesting than Hulk/Subby.

I always found Ant Man/Giant Man to be mega lame. I agree, neat but not the best storylines.

I also thought that a Cap/Iron Man book was more interesting than Hulk/Subby. I'm partial to the Hulk/Subby run, especially the early and late issues, most of the inbetween stuff is meh . The early Iron Man TOS stuff is great but from issue 75ish and on the only thing that saves it is the odd cool cover.

back in the day, many people attributed Giant Mans lameness to the fact that it was the only character created by Stan. But, being a San guy, I find that harsh...

I think both titles are some of the better comics produced, yet both are still cheap in perspective. But hey, who is complaining? I sure don't want to pay anymore to finish my runs than necessary. As long as I have collected, I think IronMan and Capt have always been in greater demand than the TTA line up. TTA are prob more rare, but demand on TOS is higher. I think IronMan sells TOS, but I am not a dealer, so I dont hear the voice of the customer enough to know if my hunch has merit.

I guess I just don't have the appreciation for a scientific genius who's best effort results in him...

1) talking with ants

2) making himself big :eyeroll:

3) reinventing himself once again as (the only slightly less lame) Yellowjacket and then proceeding to whomp repeatedly on his wife.

Thanks, Boboset. I quickly got a major interest in TTA, after Hulk began sharing the title. I read the earlier TTA's with Ant-Man, but didn't starting buying the book until this ish Tta50.jpg

The whole villain pirouetting into a men's haberdashery, is just an odd image, when compared to this classic.

TTA 50 is a great issue to start with as it has Kirby pencils with Ditko inks. I can't remember many other occurrences of those two teaming up. TTA 77 is another great Hulk cover that I'd love to acquire in HG one day.

Good taste sir!
