There is such a variance between RT and Metacritic many times. But especially when you see Metacritic-included reviewers like that Stephany Z. from the Times who was one of those that noted Joker was reinforcing the Aurora shootings like The Dark Knight inspired.

Originally gave the first film 3.5/5 due to third act. She felt the story was too long, making it slightly messy.

Pedro Pascal is the strength of the film but would have benefitted from more Wonder Woman.
