How is it that no one has made Rice Honeys since?  Seems like an obvious win.

I wonder if those were crispy like Kellog's Rice Krispies or soft like Quaker's Puffed Rice.

I think I've mentioned watches here before. I got a newer one a few weeks ago.  It's a Xeric Halograph automatic. It's a lot of fun and happens to #: 007.

Here's a link:  https://www.xeric.com/collections/halograph-2-chrono-watches/products/halograph-ii-chrono-blue-steel-h2c-1177-07l

Apparently it was on life support for another 2 decades or so, and under different names, before they finally gave up on it : https://www.mrbreakfast.com/cereal_detail.asp?id=312

It sounds a lot like other cereals that were still around in the 80's and probably still around.

Also saw this interesting video on it :

Potpourri of acquisitions other than comics I've collected (covering programs, fanzines and art)...

A couple of examples of Comic and SF convention programs that I've attended and/or guested (art attribution, Richard Corben & your's truly):

Apologies for any images reposted from earlier in this thread (haven't gone back through all 50+ pages) ...but still there's more!

A slight twist- this was Jerry’s Capa-Alpha Squa Tront contribution with different content and signed by Jerry as well.

The color in this Alex Schomburg painting is just awesome.  I've seen pulp/digest covers by him that were nice, but this is really exceptional.

The painting was commissioned by publisher John C. Winston as hard cover dust jacket for the 1954 novel Trouble On Titan by Alan E. Nourse...

Note: I don't have a copy of the novel, but located this image.

The novel was reprinted in '86 as an Ace paperback and by Simon & Shuster's Prologue SF line (ePub), but in both cases with different art.

Printed cover looks good, but the original painting is sublime.
