Congrats, NerV! Yes siree, youse da winnuh!!! George Rozen the primary cover artist for the Shadow from the early 30's until the pulp ceased publication in the Summer of '49.  His cover paintings graced the earliest Shadow Comics as well!

Peter's gathering and the Klee's hospitality are the highlight of the Convention. A huge THANK YOU to them. I had such a great time this year.

Cat's bag also included a few sweet Timelys.

Here are those sweet Timely's & some of the other books I brought.  In fact, raw books on hand were even thumbed through! Alas, I was a bit apprehnsive watching attendees chowing down on chocolate brownies just before my turn to pass raw books around came up.

Without going into specifics, both graded & ungraded high grade books were on hand, including at least one highest graded copy.

Thanks to Adam Strange for his remarkable photographic skills. I have more photos, but they're from my iPad, so not nearly as professional looking.

Huge thank you to Peter (Rare High Grade) for hosting this awesome event. I'd missed this celebration the past two years due to business travel conflicts with SDCC, but it was wonderful being back. :x

Peter's hospitality at the Klee's gathering is the highlight of the convention for me too. Huge thank you to THEM, and to mr B for always getting me back to the hotel (even last year out on Coronado!)

A non-Boardie brought this 1940s Superman hood ornament.  I don't think it would last long if you put it on your car and left it in the parking lot at SD Con.

I believe thats the one I sold him.....

+1  Peter Klee, his wife and family are incredibly nice folks.  Participating in the RHG gathering is truly the highlight of SDCC for me as well.  Someday that table will be in the Smithsonian. :preach:

BTW, Rox & I thoroughly enjoyed dining out with you and Bridget Sunday evening. Muchas gracias!  (thumbsu

PS: Loved the story about the Capt. Marvel costume your grandmother made for you based on this cover:

Great company, great books, great time.  The only thing missing from this thread is a sampling from the jaw dropping books adamstrange brought.

Very true! Adam should post scans of those books he brought. He has an excellent collection.

I'm also looking into a real-time solution for Adam to present his wonderful books himself in full camera view ...without obscura in the future. There's no reason on Rann for Adam to remain in the shadows.  He should be able to appear as his super-self in full 3D without the need for 2D effects in post production.  hm

The skill he shows in avoiding the camera is a ballet all its own.

I was so blinded by those jumbo-sized Jumbo's I completely forgot to take any pictures of my books.

Twas nothing.  Adam Strange has skipped the light fantastic on the Zeta beam between Earth and Rann more times then you can shake a stick at.

It sure looks like everyone had a fantastic time.  Thanks for sharing the books.

I'm starting to understand why I can't find a copy of Catman 28...
