I've noticed some ebay listings touting that DHP 22 is the first appearance of Duckman from Everett Peck

Can you give some insight?

I know it was published in 88 but the first (and only DH) Duckman was published in 90

I'm thinking this is another cheap ploy, like saying Comico 5 was the first "Max the Hare"

@The Meta, Yes DHP 22 is the first appearance of Duckman.  It is a two page story that starts on page 31.

I fooled around and won a bunch of cheap Aliens slabs at CLink this round. I just couldn't pass them up considering that several went for less than the cost of slabbing. That Aliens 4 2nd print is a 9.6, but it was also $17. The Aliens 5 third was a lowly 9.0, but again, 12 damn dollars! I just couldn't leave them stranded! I have raws in nicer shape, but oh well, come on home to daddy, little guys. I'll list you in the registry, then put you in a nice, cozy dark box, never to be looked at again.

I also ended up with two copies of Genocide 1, which I'm just going to go ahead and straight up blame on inebriation. Bid sober, my friends.

The UK Aliens mags are kind of a pain. They're almost always in terrible shape because they're printed on super thin paper, and they're such an odd size. Narrow, but taller than a standard magazine box. I used to have a few as a kid, long gone. I suppose at some point I'll try to finish the run, but considering that they're mostly (MOSTLY) reprints, and not easy to source in the US, I'm not in any big hurry.

I managed to pick up a full run on eBay last fall for about $3 an issue.  It also came with two copies of #’s 9 and 10.  Both 9’s had the unmarried part 1 of Aliens countdown.  

Your 100% right about there odd size.  I can get them in a standard magazine box (barely).  I have them in magazine bags and boards but I can’t close the tops.

Oh, that's great! I found a set on eBay a few months ago, but was too slow on the trigger. Such an odd size, practically designed to be destroyed!

I'm not a huge Godzilla/Kaiju fan, but I would love to find a stack of those DH Godzilla books in high grade for cheap.

Good afternoon everyone. Just got back from CGC last week. Purchased this copy at a LCS near Columbia, MD.
