That Torchy #5, 8.5, from 8/28, is beautiful, even with slight rusting on top staple. That is a classic Bill Ward cover. Just look at all the detail Ward put into Torchy's head covering, fan and even the graceful line work in her dress. That should sell at above guide. Does CL charge a buyer's premium? I suppose those auctions are also about who has the liquid cash at any given moment in time. I know this post is a bit belated, but just saw the original posting now.
