Now here's another copy I found on the Grand Comics Data Base, check out the difference in colors.

 

Yeah but you know how some of those Fiction House books fade. :(

 

It seems weird, I don't know if it's storage conditions as to how some fade and others look pristine!!!

 

A lot of board members think it's something to do with the type of ink they were using!!! hm

Two main theories:

 

Cheap ink

 

Exposure to sun.

 

Personally, I'll take a bright FH 7.0 over a faded FH 8.0 any day. The brightness of the inks in a big consideration for me when buying FH.
