Just in case anyone was still curious if Dafoe was actually playing the Goblin...

Willem Dafoe's Return As Green Goblin In Spider-Man: No Way Home Confirmed (screenrant.com)

"Marvel officially confirms that Green Golbin, who will be appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home, will be played by original trilogy actor Willem Dafoe."

Though we are still left with the question of if he is playing the Green Goblin or the new mystery character teased in the sub-header, Green Golbin.
