I started reading this series cause of your post.  How did I miss this as a kid?

2 more towards the Hobgoblin collection, 1 is an appearance and 1 is a kinda-appearance.

Just cracked open a package from Charm City Comics!  This one, I'm super excited about.  With only 16 in 9.8 on the census and I'm sure a handful in collections this one wasn't easy to grab.  It is an issue in the realm of before ASM #289 or the "death" of the original Hobgoblin too, which makes it an important one to grab.  I'm sure there are more high-grade copies out there that just haven't found their way to Sarasota, but that doesn't help me at the moment.  

So here's my PPSSM #130!  Jim Fern and Bob Layton did a fantastic job on the characters here, even without much background.  I remember reading and re-reading this one when I was a kid.  So glad to have this one!!!

2 more copper books in this week.  A few more in my "pumpkin" run arrived via Santa!  The first one, the 1st appearance of Mr. Jason Macendale, future Hobgbolin,  in Machine Man #19 (a newsie too!):

And getting back to the main point of the thread, here's an upgrade.  I have a 9.4 as an undercopy but this one came up and I couldn't pass it up for the price.  It has a color fade at the very bottom, but it's still a 9.8 WP so it works for me.  One of the best early Hobgoblin covers and where he gets his powers:
