Yes it seemed so. If he commits the second offense, then so be it!

Where do you get this? H's already on at least three strikes by my reckoning. It's all in the thread.

One serious incident is enough to ban him?  I think it's extreme but I think he deserves the second chance.

Hopefully, he would change his behavior and has respected people's wishes.  eBay hasn't banned him. He hasn't received a single Neg or Neutral for over 6 months.

Yes, what he did to Polonsky was wrong. He must respect anyone who says no.   Let's hear what Dylan will say after his suspension is over.

Not a ban a HOS
Second chances are over rated
Not having negs on ebay means nothing-plenty of horrible sellers get any and all negs removed.

I don't intend to convince anyone here.  Just my mere opinion - I always believe in the second chance.  If we get unanimous vote to ban Dylan, then so be it.

Some clarification. The vote doesn't have to be unanimous. And the vote does not ban him from the boards.

Agreed. Having an 'unblemished' rating on ebay is hardly a badge of honour.

I'm sorry to read about everything that has transpired :sorry:

I don't know what the rules are for starting a HoS vote, and I know that some hate adding more rules (which I can understand), but in fairness to any party being voted on for the HoS, I personally think that HoS voting should not begin while the party subject to the vote is on a CGC imposed vacation. While on vacation, they can't really defend themselves (which in general for someone being voted to the HoS might be tough to do), but IF they had a valid defense, then by the time they come off of vacation, it might be too late to sway the vote, even if they have 3 more days thereafter. Now if the vote had already started before they went on vacation, then perhaps that's on them... I'm guessing that in most cases, holding off on starting the vote until someone isn't on vacation wouldn't make a difference in the outcome of the vote, but nonetheless, it just seems like the right thing to me to do (even if the offending party may not have done the right thing), and it wouldn't really delay the ending time of the vote, if the clock on the vote ending time doesn't stop until 3 days after they've returned from vacation. I'll stop there as this post is turning into a wall of text, ha ha. Just my two cents; interested to hear what others think...

If people feel this way, then they are free to start a separate poll asking if this one should be deleted or if it should remain.

If the majority of that poll feels this should be withdrawn......I'll end the poll and delete the whole damn thing.  I'm not going to attempt to keep changing things based on how each individual person feels that something should be done.  The rules simply aren't that specific and I've done all I'm going to do.

Nothing wrong with it, as is. You'll always get some people who want to nit-pick.

It's a simple enough question. In or Out. No need for navel gazing by anybody.

@kav You should meet some of the card collectors.  I think you will be amused by them.

Just to be clear, I wouldn't expect you to take action solely on how I or any other individual person thinks something should be done. I was just stating my opinion, and throwing it out there to see what others thought. I realize that you can't have a rule for everything, and opinions can vary.

I understand that....which is why I mentioned that, if someone feels that strongly about it, they are welcome to start a poll to see what others think.

If that poll gets a majority vote, then I would be happy to delete all of this and someone else would be welcome to deal with it.

I put a big notation in red at the top of the first post in this thread letting everyone know Dylan is currently suspended and when his suspension will end.  I also noted that the poll was extended to give Dylan 3 full days to reply in this thread in his own defense if anyone wishes to wait for him to do that before voting.  Dylan's own actions got him suspended.  He will have an opportunity to reply in this thread before the poll ends.  That's as fair as this particular thread is going to get.
