Looking forward to seeing some of my sweet Weird Tales slabbed. Anyone know how trimmed overhangs will be graded?  My heart hopes they won’t be getting the equivalent of PLODS but my head says trimming is trimming. (shrug)

Or, how will CGC encapsulate pulps with overhang?

The same Matt Nelson who was showing everyone a prototype of the pedigree book?

I never showed off a prototype of the pedigree book, but I did show off a prototype of the grading guide.

I think he's referring to the sample chapters that were distributed at one point (Allentown was one, if I recall correctly).

So Matt, do we have an ETA on when pulp slabs will be launched?

Oh ye of little faith! We have a target date but I don’t want to jinx it. Soon.

(in my best Inigo Montoya voice) You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. (:

It is not an issue of lack of faith considering the updates we have been given from a CGC representative in this thread, not just speculation.

"The information posted here regarding the current stage of our development for pulp certification is incorrect. While we don’t have a firm date established for the pulp launch, it will be in 2022, and hopefully sooner than later."

Take your time, sir.  There's no rush.  Make sure you get all the details sorted out before you launch.  If it takes you another few years, so be it.  :foryou:

Absolutely, no argument there, just don't set expectations with specific information and then be dismissive when those targets are repeatedly not hit.  Maybe an explanation why there are delays would be more helpful.
