The Poster Collector Thread 12 12

I bought out a shuttering comic store's poster stock about 10 years ago. I sold hundreds of them, and PC'd about a hundred more, but still have hundreds left besides those, most from the late 80's through the late 90's which was probably the decade that saw the most comic book retail posters issued. Here's some from DC Comics.including "Heroes & Villains" by Byrne, Enemy Ace by Pratt, Batman by Jim Lee, Superman(S) by Bogdonove, DeVito, Yoshi Amano, and McGuinness, plus one of Superboy by Grummett, and Superman's gravestone from the "death of" event, and a pair of Wonder Womans by Deodato and Dodson.

Here are a pair of original Marvel third eye 1971 posters.  I picked these up from Dark Adventure Comics in GA via ebay in 2003 for something like $30 each.

I used to look forward to the Dark Adventure auctions in the CBG weekly  those were the days, 2 beauty's there, they kook even better framed.

I just picked this one up, have to get home tonight and backroll it. My favorite one of the Jim Lee series of posters they came out with at the time. Between Logan's short shorts and the girls' hairdos - it exemplifies the awesome 90s' fashion. Always wonder where this original art ended up.

This went to the framers today.  Bought it a year ago, and I think its a first edition, but it might be a second, at least in the 24 x 36 size:

This is from a million years ago, and regretfully I don't think I'll get it signed by the whole gang.  Got off to a great start, but I went to alot more shows back in the 90s.  11 x 17, can't remember what it was limited to.

Also dropped off at the framers today. The TM signature was plentiful for a while after SDCC, and then all of a sudden it wasnt.  The ZD30 went to the framer today as well, but I couldnt find what is going to have to be a legit "night vision green" matte to make it work; it won't work with anything else, I even tried a yellow laydown with a white indented black matte to try to match it up, and this print isnt having it.  By Modo and Jock, variant edition of 300.
