And my last NYCC pickup, a #48 that had what I was looking for -- perfect centering, white pages, and a deep color strike that shows up in the dark browns at the top of the cover (rather than the oranges and light green price box you see so often on the HG copies):

Even though I had a nice 9.6 copy of this book a over year ago, I would be more than happy to get a copy like this. Perfect centering and page quality (worship)

Finally picked up a nice FF 48 at a nice price in the CLINK auction... :headbang:

 

Would've loved to have picked up the 50 as well at $931...

Was underbidder on the FF 14 9.0 Whitepager...bid $914 and it went for $955... :tonofbricks:

I was never a big fan of FF growing up but they've been growing on me lately so i decided to start my run with a few pickups in the November CL auction. I really wanted the 9.0 14 also but went too high for me so went with these instead.

More nice pick-ups. I'm still waiting to get a copy of FF 112. I wish I wasn't between purchases at the moment or I would've loved to bid on that FF 49. The prices seem to be surpassing the 48 now in grade.

NICE Wins! I was the underbidder on the 14 and bid on the 41 as well, but didn't push the bid on that one! Happily I was able to win rube's 14 on the rebound...
