Great looking copy of a very tough book. Congrats Steve. :applause:

Thnx Peter (and Jeff) - I am really enjoying this particular book!

(thumbs u Solid copy of a tough book (toughest of the New Comics run)!?!

I'd probably cast my vote for New Comics 2, but will defer to the true experts (Peter and Jon) on that issue.

I agree with Steve...2 is a little more tough than 3 IMO

My original statement was poorly written (have edited it). It was meant to be more of a question.

Seems #2-4 are all tough issues.

Okay, did a boardie when this comic tonight. It was one of Adam's and I think it went off at a deal. I was the underbidder. I either cost someone two grand or made Adam 2 grand. Either way I am bummed. I was trying to win my first 1930s book.

I was concerned about it being Ep but I of course I wanted it none the less.

Great looking book; the EP would be troublesome to me, but it's the one issue I'm missing in my run. Almost wish I had snagged it...

Thnx to another Boardie for allowing me to score this little gem yesterday.

Yeah, it's coverless, yeah it's mositure stained, yeah it has a rusty staple, but to get such a tight and nearly white book from 1936 - especially when it's a COMICS MAGAZINE 2 - was a thrill for me (even though I have a nice copy of the book already).

I think of CM2 as a historically significant book, the only appearance of Siegel and Shuster's Federal "Agent".

This one is going to remain on the night stand as a reminder of just how great the start of the Golden Age was... :cloud9:
