When Hiro went back to tell Peter to save the cheerleader, wasn't he changing the past? Unless Peter had told Hiro in the future that an even more future Hiro had told him about saving the cheerleader and that he needed to do it. But how would it happen the first time (if this is the first time in the time continuum).

My head hurts....

I liked it. Why did the time guy not save her? Could he not do it or did he elect not to?

thought she had an incurable brain condition which makes me wonder if these powers will eventually "burn" out the heroes. confused-smiley-013.gif

I liked the episode, but I didn't like the fact that

in just six months time all the characters lives in all the scenerios

were so radicially different. To me that makes it unbelievable

when all of there lives are THIS different, this would be a one in a billion

chance that this could actually happen.

But other than that I thought it was o.k.

not sure what you mean? their lives should be the same?

This episode was about all the characters six months ago in the past.

I was just weird to me that all of the characters lives were

in each instance were radicially different from the lives they lead now...

I thought they were implying that the "beginnings of the change" started for each of them

around the same time... 6 months ago... so they are all connected in the need to

"save the world" now,

and they were all connected in the time of their "birth" as heroes then.

The Hiro thing reminded me of Quantum Leap, when he attempted to save the waitress,

whatever allows him to "leap" didn't allow him to "leap" where he wanted to be.

(He couldn't save her, then he couldn't leap at all... "I took a bus.")

Perhaps it was his emotional connection to the waitress that stopped his control.

or maybe he just hasn't mastered his powers yet cause he seems to be landing in random places. once he figures it out (witch it looks like he eventually does), then he will go back again and save her.

as far as their lives changing so dramatically I agree with the post above that their lives are changing so quickly cause they are all part of this thing and are all “very important people”

Might that not also suggest that there is an outside force at work here?

Claire's father is still a bit of a mystery. He obviously wants to keep Claire alive, but he has his own little dynamic duo in his hip pocket, so he was a bit ahead of Dr. Chandra Suresh before they met.

Another question is how was Suresh able to track all of these potentials?

But the big question is which hero buys it next week?

Claire--No way

Officer Parkman--possible

Hiro--Obviously not

Nathan Petrelli--unlikely since Hiro mentioned he would win the election

Peter Petrelli--possible

Niki/Jessica--possible

Micah--unlikely

Eden--possible

D.L.--possible

Isaac--possible

The Hatian--possible

Am I leaving anybody out?

I know--I'm totally geeking out. insane.gif
