Dude, I'll PM you my mailing address so you can get rid of that lousy ASM 261 in 9.6. Really? A 9.6 among all of those 9.8s and 9.9s? I'll even cover shipping so you don't need to worry about it taking up space in your recycle bin wink.gif

Seriously though, that is one ambitious and amazing collection you've got going there. When it's complete, you should lay it out and do a "group" photo! smile.gif

It's All yours bud. 99Cents.

27_laughing.gif I hadn't realized you had already listed it! You really ARE going for the killer ASM collection!

I never noticed until now on this issue, but Spidey's eyes are done in a sort of Ditko-esque sort of fashion. Or am I over-SA'd?-)

Nice Finish. I was debating it, but have bought too much lately, way too much.

Someone post some copper spidey's. This thread is almost non-existent. All of the copper ASM collectors never grace the boards.

Besides the random Ghost Town post I rarely see any of these guys ever posting. I'm gonna have to make up some serious slack and get my images fixed up.

I invite more people to start collecting Copper Amazing Spider-Man books.......

Damn it's getting lonely here lol

Yes that is a beauty. Those McFarlane Inferno issues are a group of beauty. I'd think about going for a McFarlane run but the fact that all the 9.9's are almost bought up by Joe Ragno and Frank (Hitman1099) on ebay makes me double think it as I'd never get the best run. But even in 9.8 they would be a nice run to have.

gonna have to mull that one over when I'm done my run.

I submitted his entire run in a 9.6 pre-screen. A couple didn't make it. Can you pick out the 9.8s from the 9.6s.......

AC- there are Copper ASM fans out there, just not all of us go the slabbed route. Look on either Silver, Bronze, or Copper and you'll find me ;)

316 is easily the best Venom cover which I don't think anyone will argue (and if they do, good luck). I still think 300 is favorite though- it's just one of those Spidey images that defines McFarlane's work on the title; his style being such a divergence from before. Collecting all of the McFarlane ASMs was (and is) one my favorite parts to my collection.

I can't tell 9.8's from 9.6's without having the book in hand. Good job though if you snagged all but 2 in 9.6's and 9.8s. Sweet submission to say the least.

I did a prescreen for 9.6's and shot them to Doug from Pedigree but when he got all 25 or so books he contacted me and we talked for a bit. I figured there were about 6-10 9.8 quality books in my ASM's so I told him to just 9.8 the pre-screen. I got 8 9.8's back from that. I'm good with the books for pre-screening them and happy to have an ASM280 and 289 right from my own collection that I've been buying in the last 5-10 years in my CGC 201-300 lot. I wish I had the high grade McFarlanes that you had for a submission.

:-)
