we have a winnah!

great book, and while I am not sure if it is truly a 7, I can tell you that it is closer to a 10 in terms of folks actually selling them...we have seen maybe 2 copies for sale in the last 2 years!

And a few more 7's:

I love seeing scans of these scarce books.

Interesting that DC managed to get an attractive damsel in distress on all of these Rex covers, and that Rex lost his usually-pink snout of the cover of #3.

There are some fun covers in this series. Some of my other faves are

#11 Rex vs. dinosaur w/atomic bomb blast in the background (the humans on the

cover are wearing protective sunglasses, though, so it's safe).

#24 Rex becomes an honorary Indian chief. Really.

#30 Rex becomes an honorary fire chief. He's rescuing some kittens on the cover.

Awww...it's so cute!

#31, 38, 39, 42 all have nice washtone covers.

The Detective Chimp stories are great too!

Sorry I got off topic......none of these are 7's.

Here's a 7:

GreenLantern30.jpg

Yes, a book that I have been looking to pick up for several years now. :cloud9:

Finally got a decent looking copy even though it graded as only a 2.5 by CGC. Sure presents very well for a 2.5 slabbed copy. Boy, that woman in yellow seems to have an awfully thin waistline.:takeit:

Hopefully, i'll be getting it in the next few days as I had already paid for it the day after the Heritage auction which was 2 weeks ago. Well, I guess I shouldn't worry too much about it since it took Heritage over 3 months to ship my last book to me.

Must be a case of slow service for low dollar value customers like me. lol
