    @scburdet Yours seems to be undergraded. My newsstand came back an 8.0 also, and it pretty clearly has more flaws than yours. Agree on your assessment of OP's though. That color breaking crease on the black is going to kill the grade. 7-ish

    I have two copies with that line. In the graders notes for one it's not mentioned, on the other there's a note of "scuff front cover" but it's unclear to me if it's referring to the line. I wonder if the CGC recognizes this as a manufacturing defect, because with OP's and GawkHawk's, I now know of half a dozen like this. Anyway, I'm at an 8.5 for yours, higher if the grime near the spine cleans up well.

    5.0/5.5 Stains get hammered. I had a beautiful book with barely visible stain the size of a pea get busted all the way down to a 6.0 because of it. With the other issues this book has and the extent of the staining a 6.0 feels like a best case scenario to me. Edit: knock a grade or two off if the centerfold is detached
