A little bit of rounding on the lower left front corner? Maybe? I'm going to say 9.4

Is that a small stain in the extreme upper right front corner? This one is a real struggle for me. Between the subscription crease, the staining(?) and other issues, I want to put this at about a 6.0/6.5, but it presents so much better than that. I'm going to say 6.5/7.0 without much confidence, and I'll be really curious to hear what the more experienced members of the group have to say.

That line and the wrinkles on the back lower right hand corner make me think that maybe this book has been pressed, but maybe not using modern methods. We're definitely straying outside of my comfort zone though, so you may want to ignore everything I've said and wait for one of the resident experts to weigh in.

Looks 5.5ish to me, but I'm not very confident in that because I can't see the "whole book lite crease" or "whole book bend". Can you see a subscription crease?

@scburdet Yours seems to be undergraded. My newsstand came back an 8.0 also, and it pretty clearly has more flaws than yours. Agree on your assessment of OP's though. That color breaking crease on the black is going to kill the grade. 7-ish

9.2 ish if not a stain by the price box, a few grades lower if a stain.
