steveinthecity replied to jedijohnson's topic in Bronze Age Comic Books
Welcome to the CGC forums! Just using #1 as an example, there’s “regular”, the reprint, 35 cent variant, and Philippines Foreign edition broken out separately. https://www.cgccomics.com/census/ You might enjoy this thread: -

It was a nice surprise seeing this inside a package yesterday. -

This is a 2020 label that’s being retired. It’s possible it’s not offered as a choice due to being out of stock. The new Spidey specific labels are either Miles or Goblin. Maybe give Customer Service a call Monday morning. edit: If it’s showing when you list other books, then I’m really not sure why the option isn’t there.

Here’s EBay sales from the end of Nov. until now. Lowest was $491.99 as an auction sale. $820 was highest BIN. I would check as many sources as possible. -

The credit is automatically added to your account. You won’t see the credit when you go to check out but once CGC goes to bill your CC they’ll apply any credits at that point. -
Cracked case. Want to reholder question.
steveinthecity replied to Gazoony's topic in Newbie Comic Collecting Questions
If there’s apparent or suspected damage to the book they’ll regrade it, otherwise the comic will just be reholdered. -
Amazing Spider-Man #100
steveinthecity replied to mgroetz's topic in Newbie Comic Collecting Questions
I think the conventional belief is these were printed at the same time as the “regular” cents copies, but with the plate switched to reflect pence/U.K. price denominations. -
The late great Otto Binder disrespected by Tom King
steveinthecity replied to HuddyBee's topic in Comics General
According to the Bleeding Cool article linked below, the recording shown/played in the Rorschach comic was “real”. One excerpt: https://bleedingcool.com/comics/frank-miller-otto-binder-and-randy-cox-in-rorschach-1-spoilers/ -
You should make a list.

What condition is the rest of the comic? If the book is low grade to begin with, the missing piece could be factored into the overall grade. If the rest of the book is in decent shape with no major defects, the missing page could also result in a Qualified grade. It would definitely help to see the book in question.

Care to give us the buyers user ID? That’s absolutely the sort of buyer that sellers want to avoid as they are utter time wasters.

Batman Vs. Gilligan’s Island on Family Feud
steveinthecity replied to iggy's topic in Comics General
No ideas about an “Egghead” character in the SA, but fwiw an “Egghead” along with “Optik” were a bad-guy duo (The Ghost Gang) that faced off against Bats & Robin way back in Batman #22. -
Sold for $316.55 Congrats, Cal!

Hello! Welcome to the "Comics Market - Forum Only Selling" board! The moderators have asked everyone around here to help educate new comers about the posting rules for this forum so that we can keep things running smoothly. So whenever we see a new thread go up that's missing some of the information required by the rules, someone will generally happen along and post this reminder (by moderator request). You can find the posting guidelines here: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=1460472&page=1#Post1460472 Specifically, you should check out #s 6 & 8 as good starting points, but best to familiarize yourself with all of them. They are well worth reading, because your posts can be removed from the boards if they don't conform to the guidelines. This will help you to attract more buyers as well, since this is how people expect to have books offered around here. Thanks, and glad to have you here! -
