I don't think Reynolds has a contract per se. He's a producer on this, if I'm not mistaken. He's got an active stake in the movie & successive movies. Not only as an actor but as a producer as well.

I don't think it's that they had a problem with bootleg or counterfeit coupons but that they didn't want to keep giving away $240 worth of paid service for a $130 or whatever membership fee.

seller had to re-ship it. It was a total USPS screwup. Took like an extra week.

I had one go from my local post office to "out for delivery" and then the next day, show as "received" in California. I'm in Pittsburgh. It obviously did NOT get delivered to me. Ended up going back to the seller inexplicably.

Mine arrived today too. From front-cover only (haven't had a chance to pull them from the bag yet to look at the back), they're definitely 9.8 candidates. They look exceptional. Color & sketch set for me. Sooooo nice. (actually, just pulled them from the bags & no overspray of any sort. Minty fresh)

Here's what I just got back. Don't have a clue where the 9.2 on the Civil War 4 variant came from. I can't see a single thing. I'll have to check the graders notes. (girlfriend's book) Only thing on the graders notes for the 9.2 are a light bend on the right corner. No color break. At a very specific angle I can see something that might be a bend or it could be just the way the light hits it in the case... but wow. Helluva hit for something that small. I could have seen 9.6 for it if it's there (which I don't see)... but all he way down 9.2? Kinda excessive. It kinda irks me enough that I almost wanna CPR it just because that's ridiculous IMO.

No, I don't think so. GotG was as amazing of a new concept to this generation of moviegoers as Star Wars was to those in the 70's.

I notice a memorable absence of Bradley Cooper on that list. Please don't tell me that he won't be voicing Rocket again. Cause that would be disappointing.

Picked up one of the JSC Gwenpool Holiday Special Midtown variants. Because it's just a great ridiculous cover. I've been maybe sorta grabbing every single JSC variant I can find recently for books inside my collecting focus.

I also can't believe how perfect of a casting choice that would actually be. Just have Hamm get big & it works perfectly. He's already a sorta bulky dude. And I can only imagine him playing the straight man next to Deadpool.

I'm betting they end up on the Anti-Registration side post-Civil War & end up on the run. Hence the title.

Created a pegboard wall that I painted up to match/blend in with the other black parts of the vanity/desk part of the built-ins. And some new curtains. A model friend of mine just did a photoshoot in my nerd room today. She's going to be sending me pictures of the shoot. I didn't peek in during the shoot, but she said she was keeping it PG-13 at worst. I'll see if any of them are appropriate to post when I see them. At the very least, I'll get photos with half-decent lighting & on a better camera than my iPhone.

I think you're missing the point that it's not up to the community to make the case for HoS, it's up to the party doing the nomination. So if you're really pushing for a HoS nomination, it's up to you to provide a timeline, clear argument & documentation (via screen shots, e-mails, links, etc) to make that case. Asking those here to do our own research is pretty much a recipe for a failed nomination. Because it'll get ignored.

Called to ask about my order today since my paid membership expired & Molly was a huge help. Apparently if your membership expires while the books are still there and haven't shipped yet, their system glitches & it doesn't get shipped without essentially a "manual override". So they've been ready to ship for a few days now but didn't because of this glitch. So my books are heading out tomorrow (or they got out today maybe?) But... only 1 of them is a head scratcher at a 9.2. Everything else though were 9.8 like expected.
