nice, didn't know that when I read this at my young age I always felt sorry for the Gibbon
that was Stan's genius ! even the Gibbon !! the characters Stan created were more real than anything that comics gave us before he came along , both his heroes and villains had flaws and fears and everything else just like real people , before Marvel and Stan Lee came around it was just mostly DC comics,... and DC characters were all for the most part one-dimensional and completely unbelievable

STAN'S final issue
In 1972, Lee stopped writing monthly comic books to assume the role of publisher. His final issue of The Amazing Spider-Man was #110 (July 1972)

i've been going over the pictures of the run and looked at the registry ... i like obscure DC runs (like Rex Wonder Dog) and you have picked a nice one to collect in the Jerry Lewis run !!! lots of cool covers!
-
i don't know about you but if i was collecting the run and was offered a Jerry Lewis signed comic by Jerry Lewis himself that would offset any low numerical grade , i don't know if there is any Jerry signed books ? ? Neal Adams SS series would be the same ! the signature would positively offset any lower numerical grade and would likely be even more valuable

War Comics - Neal Adams did the artwork in issues 101 -104. I guess those qualify as key issues. The only one I need is 101, which is next to impossible to find.
seems like adding an ss to your run would be sweet !!! or do you already have a Neal Adams / Jerry Lewis SS series book?
