Well, they're not exactly the Deluxe slipcover edition of Red Nails, but I like 'em anyway. My HC upgrades to the TPB came in (got them cheap to boot). And yes. DK's Hour of the Dragon is awesome.

What's up with this cover? According to Overstreet, the inks are actually done by Wrightson. Never heard of Ralph Reese before, even back in the day. If OS is correct, then this is the only Kane/Wrightson combo I've ever seen. I don't recall them ever collaborating on any other project.

Finally got a my matching Power Records #PR30 to go with my #PR27.

A LCS had a raw run of #1-15 in VF-VF+ on sale. Went ahead and picked it up. Was never really a fan of Frank Thorne's style back in the day, but I've come to appreciate it a lot more now. Definitely gave Sonja a look that made her distinctive from every other female character back then and now.

More Adams Bats....

Some nice mid-grades towards my Adams Bats collection, although I think the Tec 392 is probably a 9.0.

Well, as the insufficiently_thoughtful_person who started this thread, it'd be weird if I didn't join this parade. I have 3 copies. One slabbed, a low/mid-grade raw, and low grade that I have in a frame that I usually hang on the wall.

Awesome Conans. Glad to see someone else is interested in the old guy these days. That Micronauts is outstanding. Thinking about picking up the first 12 issues in high grade myself. That was my favorite comic for a while until it started to go downhill after around the time Mike Golden left the title.

Very, very drool worthy. I think I'd have to sell off my entire Bats collection to upgrade to those grades.

Well, it didn't take very long for CL to take down all their ended auctions. Did anyone catch what the Bats 227 9.2 and Bats 222 9.4 went for?

Adams Bats over at CL in general are doing especially well tonight. Haven't seen a spike like this in a little while. I was hoping to upgrade a few books, but I'm way out of the running now.

Heh. I am so happy I didn't win that Twin Cities Tec 395 over at HA a couple of years ago. I was bidding heavy on testosterone and would have well overpaid for it. Price took a nose dive this time around over at HA. I did thought the Bats 222 came down a bit too.

Well, to be fair, it used to be the reverse (sort of). 227 was reprinted in Limited Collectors Edition C-59 and DC excluded the cover from the book entirely. Brian48, why do you think DC Comics never did a reprint or Millenium Edition of these hot Adams books? i mean, they could sell copies and make money. They have lots of Millenium Edtions and even Justice League #1(1987) which makes no sense Love your BB85, I just picked up a Finland Edition I love that cover Was lucky to get it relatively cheap before the show took off.

Heh. I don't think DC can make ANY money on these silly Millennium Editions. From what I can tell, nobody wants them. I can tell ya, I've never drooled over any of them.

Besides Bats 227, Bats 222 has a tendency to defy all common sense as well. Now there's a high grade in both the upcoming CL and the current HA. I actually find this outcome more interesting.

I still need a Bats 200, but I'm ok with just a decent raw copy. No rush. Really searching for a slabbed high grade Tec 411 though. That's the only one I need right now.
