    The Hakes CGC 8.0 Bats 121 is currently at $12,100. Ya looks like it's hot

    Nice copy, but not as nice as the CC 5.0 copy. The 4.0 book has the faded blue color at the top and rusty staples which looks like it may have migrated onto the paper. If I had the $ to afford an Action 1, I would give it a 2nd thought, but that's just me. Still, I would this book will reach at least half a mil and a half.

    Watching the Hakes auctions. Soo a winning bidder would have to wait 3 hours until the timer ends for that buyer to win if there are no other bidders within that time frame!? I don't understand why it takes so long for a lot to close.

    In memory of John Verzyl's passing, I would like to donate the Marvel Masterworks below. It may not be an original MM book the way John owned, but he had a strong passion for the GA especially Timely books from what I have read about him. Hopefully whomever chooses this will enjoy reading the stories just as much as he did. Book ships free anywhere

    I researched this apparently ref blew whistle so he aborted throw but it was still ruled as his free throw, I wonder why it was still ruled as a free throw after the whistle.. Doesn't make sense!?

    New owner can simply pencil back in her name I'm sure the outline is still there. I can actually see her last name still on the book.

    Yea was surprised on the grade. Thought 4.0 at best with that piece missing and the staple rust. I knew the spine roll and writing would be removed, had a good feeling about it.

    Ah that's my fault. I didn't realize they were double covers. I didn't even see the notes on the label. Not too shabby still.

    Not to rain on your parade, but the actual on GE is 4.5, and the actual on Yogi is 5.0 I saw the actual pictures with the grades on the label and the GE showed 6.0 and Yogi 6.0
