  1. As usual the books you post are ridiculously nice.
  2. Much lower grade than I usually like but I have not bought anything in a while and was getting a bit trigger happy.
  3. just when you thought that sig line couldn't get any more impressive Gino, you are hitting them out of the park buddy. killer cover in ANY grade. Congrats! Congrats Gino a great book, could not have gone to a nicer guy.
  4. Claimed to be vg\vg+, didn't look like it would make VG+ to me.
  5. Wow. And from more than just two bidders. A very strong price. Makes me appreciate my copy even more.
  6. well I guess you know I am via PM for those out there still bidding I have bowed out so bid away and hopefully a boardie can take er' home!! (thumbs u +1 good luck to any boardies.
  7. Anyone else following this. Price is much higher than I expected. http://m.ebay.com/itm/291489164519?nav=SEARCH
  8. Very cool. That is a nice looking copy. I find they are a pain to store because of their size and I have made some inadvertent damage to my no#1
  9. I am not sure if it is just peoples' scanners but there appear to be copies that have more purple in in the night sky than others. I prefer the copies with more purple. Similar to ASM 143 and Sandman 1.
  10. I'd rather have the full 25c.
  11. That's the New Brunswick copy. I know it's history, including Steve's and my original grade. What goes around, comes around. Sounds drama-riffic. Do tell? We graded it 5.5. A nice 5.5! It is nice, at that. So why the "What goes around, comes around" -- ? Well I first saw the book with the 800+ collection first brought from NB. Then most of it went away. Then I saw it at Harley's booth. Then it went away. Now I'm seeing it here. Makes sense. The way your original statement comes off, stating that you "know the history of the book" and the "original grade" you gave it, vs. what it is today, and finishing with "What goes around, comes around" implies something nefarious had happened/some ill dealings transpired, in between the raw state when you had it, and the 6.0 slab it resides in now. That is what I assumed too.
  12. That's an amazing copy ! +1 It is crazy to see an early showcase book in that kind of shape. Very nice!
  13. My Pez book lists the Creature for $300-$375. I believe that is an "old school" book price. I believe $175-$200 is more like it. Add 30% more for the cardboard base. (or sell it seperately). I haven't looked on Flea Bay so I might be way off. I'm sure some have sold. That will give you current "market" price. He is the one everybody wants. Either way, great find! Ebay seems to be 80-150 form completed sales.
  14. This one is soooo good. Is it by Brundage?
  15. Is the no# 30 hard to find? I think I remember someone saying it is impossible to find, even more so than the other zips.
  16. Same with the battle front 23. I had not seen that one before. Thanks for sharing.
  17. +1 Some great pick ups you have posted recently.
  18. Oh man! What a copy!!!! I have said it before but that cover has everything, German and Japanese war cover, nazis, people in tubes, bondage all you need it a hypodermic needle and it would be unbeatable.
