Stevenrams
Thanks for the generous comment. Yes, it is a beautiful copy. Just thought I'd scan the back cover as well. I remember my mom buying me Thom McCan Shoes. They had retail outlets all over the USA back in the 1950s-1980s.

Boba
YOU MUST SEE THIS! Required viewing for serious WW fans: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Board=4&Number=6613675&Searchpage=1&Main=295662&Words=&topic=0&Search=true#Post6613675 Saw this last night as was going to post a thread about it, decided to see if anyone had done it already, not surprised to find they did. It was pretty good documentary and required viewing (I think) for any true Wonder Woman fans. There's a lot of info about the character, some things that I didn't even know - like why they nearly killed the character by turning the book into a romance magazine in the 50's. There's a lot of stuff about the feminist movement and even interviews with Gloria Steinem, and Trina Robbins is in it too. Toward the end they do a little segment where impassioned pleas are made to Warner Brothers to do a movie about her - one fan says "It's time". Lots. and lot of pictures of wonderful Golden Age Sensations and Wonder Woman comics. A fan's dream. And by the sounds of it, Wonder Woman still holds a pretty special place in the hearts and minds of many women who grew up reading the comic. Gloria Steinem said she too read it as a child because "it was the only game in town" - the only female superhero role model. IMHO Great documentary!
