Right? I've been talking about these bound volume copies to, well, to anyone who's unlucky enough to have to listen to me. The colors are terrific.

#10 -- my newest favorite MLJ cover. I'd never seen this one until it popped up on ebay. Love the scale of the figures, and the colors are super vibrant.

#12 -- it's not an MLJ superhero series until there's a cover set in some medieval castle.

#13 -- I love the random green beastie popping up on the right. (Wonder if an editor told the artist to stick that guy in after the rest of the cover was drawn!)

Top Notch was one of favorites. I loved The Firefly. It was a bummer reading #27 to find that The Firefly story was to be continued in the next issue, which of course never happened as it turned into Top Notch Laugh.

These Blue Ribbons will be the ruin of me. The absolute ruin. When I saw this wreck of a BR #21 I just HAD to have it... and paid accordingly. Second-to-last issue of the run and so friggin' rare! I feel the way about this one that Gino feels about the BR #19. Love it to death and I'll probably be buried with it.

Quite an interesting look. The images had 3d qualities to me.  More so than a regular comic.

The Black Hand is so misunderstood. He's the real hero of Blue Ribbon Comics.
