The first will be more mainstream offerings, from keys to Best of 90's Drek, and the second will be a labor of love, a wide assortment of independents and obscurities (not necessarily big money stuff, though I guess some may surprise me as I price them, but mostly from what I can see just a bunch of oddball stuff that doesn't get offered around here very often.) Takers in the first thread are welcome to sit through the 2nd one before wrapping up, for combo shipping purposes, but I'll PM everyone at the end of the first as some may not be interested in the independents. Either way, it'll take a while. I'm pulling from 10 short boxes of material, three of which are independents. These are chunks of 2-3 collections I took in for fun (read and release, learn some new-to-me series, etc). At least two of the guys had multiples of some books too, so there will be multiple copies of certain books available. Just starting to shoot pix and wrap my head around it. Again, the threads will be long and sporadic too, as I have a lot going on right now, but I can also use the fun distraction of playing with funnybooks so I'm getting it started soon even though life is busy. I was going to pull some books to send to an auction house, but I'm going to scan them and list them here first since I have the time. These are all slabs and will be available today and tomorrow. I'd like payment by tomorrow if possible, but if you want a book and that can't be done, we can discuss it. I'm going to plan to list the books starting at 4pm EST. Not exactly sure what I will be listing yet, but so far, I have at least one Action, one Sensation, a nice Lois Lane #1, at least one Timely, an early Cosmic Aeroplane Jumbo (not high grade) Captain Marvel and a WonderWorld. Probably about 10-15 books in total. Brownies will be on the table. There will be tons of variety in the toy offerings. Some of the comic related toys being offered are Transformers, RoboTech, Voltron, Masters of the Universe, GI Joe, Godzilla and more!!! This is a large collection of truly vintage 80s plastic, and some high end newer stuff. I see a lot of people complaining that the MIXED category never has good sales, so I aim to fix that, by at least offering a unique opportunity to own some valuable comic related items, thus enhancing your collection. It will be interesting I'm sure. I've had several family obligations that have led to the delay of this sales thread. I am officially out of the woods, as of tonight, but given the time now, I think I'll start it tomorrow. The thread will happen, rain or shine at 5pm PST. No more delays!!! I'm excited to offer these beautiful treasures to my favorite folks... the boardies!!! See you tomorrow at 5pm. ***My goodness!!!*** sorry, will convene as soon as as possible, emergency. I spent a few pennies myself recently and will start a sales thread next weekend hopefully, maybe one is c/m (volume) and one in g/s/b (yum yums for sure but maybe a little cheap stuff as well).
