onlyweaknesskryptonite Posted April 12, 2022 Share Posted April 12, 2022 Got my Terry Austin books back from CGC today. I sent 4 of those 3 will have to go back. You can see all the issues and whole submission here. That said. One has a bubble/debris in the back inner well that presses into the book and appears to have caused a dimple. Two are hard to distinguish between so both will have to go back. One is signed on the interior by Terry Austin and John Byrne no note of writing. Kinda thought it would get the Hybrid Green/Yellow. The other is a Double Cover. No note of it or grades of interior/ outer cover. Spoiler and SOOO glad this one didn't have any isses ! Wolverine LS 1 - Raw that was previously signed by Chris Claremont on the cover. Had some waviness so had it pressed. Came back a 6.0 with assumption points deducted for the previous sig on the cover but no mention on label and grader notes. These were sent in and cracked for the Perez signing but that did not happen - opted for the labels and new cases. Bummed however because when CGC sent my message on options for submitted books for the signing, I wanted the label and a press to try and bump the grades. The press did not happen even though I made that clear in my responses back. Maybe another day... The CM 22 was a 9.6 oww, the CM 28 9.6w, the CM 51 35c PV 9.2w, and the Monsters on the Prowl 9 was graded an 8.5, which I posted in this thread last fall. Both the 22 and 51 are both single highest. The 22 and 28 are the last two I need to complete the Captain Marvel title in 9.8.
