DocGo
A new copy of Thorn Tales from the Lantern will be in the June 20-23 Comics and Comic Art Signature Auction on Heritage. The listing says that they’ve graded it as NM but no pics just yet. No mention of signatures or sketches either. Very curious to see what this will look like: https://comics.ha.com/itm/modern-age-1980-present-/humor/thorn-tales-from-the-lantern-nn-no-publisher-listed-198/p/7374-40006.s?ic2=mytracked-lotspage-lotlinks-12202013&tab=MyTrackedLots-101116

Went for $2100 I’ve never had an interest in collecting the different colored logos but I had an inkling that this may go big since it’s the only one on the census…but certainly not that big. I was in on that one until it got crazy! I'm a bit of a colored logo nerd...that one would've looked reaaaally good in my collection. I don’t see any creasing on the front or back covers which is a plus. The primary problem looks to be the bottom corner of the spine on the front and back covers with noticeable wear. It’s definitely the best raw copy of TTFL that Heritage has had so far

DocGo
Have any of you ever bought/collected the various Bone statues over the years? I don’t think I’ve ever discussed them on this thread and I brought it up on the Reddit forum not too long ago. I just have the Red Dragon & Ted set and Phoney (pictured below). I know the Fone Bone mini-statue produced by Dark Horse was briefly mentioned a few years ago but nothing else before or since. If you have any insights or pics, show me what you got! DocGo
A 9.8 of a first print #1 sold on eBay yesterday morning for a little over $10k but this will look deceiving on GPA. It was graded a little over a year ago and the Grader Notes say “very light spine stress lines to cover”. These are evident, as well as two color-breaking creases on the top of the front cover’s spine. The back cover has at least one CB crease and a couple other marks that could be creases (could also be reflections from the plastic). The bottom corner of the front cover’s spine is a little rough but not enough to take it out of 9.8 by itself. At least the seller posted decent pics of the book so people could see what they were buying. To me, this is a 9.6 at best if not a 9.4 based solely on what I can see from the images. It had to be graded as a Walkthrough/High Value and I don’t understand how it made it out of the building as a 9.8 ‘Does anyone disagree?
