I noticed prices are coming down. In addition, Noble causes#3, The intro to Invincible isnt selling so well. Right Phi Gam ;)

 

I just realized which troll you are! you are the cat who keeps lowballing me on one of my Noble Causes FS #3b 9.8s on feebay! the one who kept quoting the $75 price one copy sold at 3 years ago lol

I just wanted to drop in and say that I read the first trade of Invincible last night and it was pretty good :)

 

All the talk I see on these boards (e.g. this thread) convinced me to try it.

 

I like the way the characters talk about the conventions of their genre. For example, Mark asking for a more 'iconic' costume, or his dad saying they were about due for a 'team up'.

 

The girl's cute. Is this going to be a will they / won't they for a long time to come?

 

I wonder if we're going to hear his mother's story at some point? I get the feeling she's going to do more than cook them both dinner as the series goes on.

 

Anyway, good stuff! I'll read the second trade some time this weekend (thumbs u

The 2nd Library Volume hasn't been advertised/solicited yet so you haven't missed it --- as it happens Volume 10 of the regular trade paperback series (due last month) and Volume 4 of the hardcover series (due out back in the fall) are still pending release. No real explanation for the delays yet.

I just read the 2nd trade, and it's really taking off. Great issue where we are introduced to the JLA I mean the Guardians of the Globe. We get a really nice intro to each of these well developed characters in turn and then BAM lol And he did it! :o

 

Then the following issue opens with a character muttering 'hurm'. Of course, he would be investigating a case like this lol

 

Really enjoying it now. I need to pick up a few more.
