So I have sorta finished picking up all my GI Joe's from the flea market of my parents basement.... I didn't realize exactly how much I had until now & I'm pretty sure there's at least 1-2 more boxes of them somewhere.

 

I also spent a number of hours putting things back together to make sure everything is at least 90% complete.

I bought this yesterday on my lunch break, I went to an antique mall and was digging through a bunch of $1 comics. I was actually checking for Mark Jeweler variants and came across this.....

 

All-Star Squadron # 2 Quadruple cover

 

My first multiple cover I've ever found.

Was walking back from lunch and saw a woman set up on the sidewalk selling jewelry. As I was walking by I noticed she was selling packs of 1990 score baseball cards AND had a single long box of comics.

 

I searched though the box and found the following for $1 a pop...

 

 

The MOS 19 3rd print is in pretty beat up shape but the other books are in great shape.

Star Wars Day. I don't collect it any longer but couldn't pass them up Original owner AT-AT and Snow Speeder. Both are complete and work great.

I can't find stuff on craigslist this was on Swip Swap Facebook . He has He-man figures too but I know nothing about them

You know, I really couldn't pass the sixth one up from the flea market vendor Sunday afternoon. It wasn't a Batman book, but he did have a 6 for $5 deal, as opposed to $1 each, so what can you do.

I didn't realize what this was until I researched it, but there were only 25 of these made and one sold in 2014 for $250.

Looks like gold and red foil are pretty cheap, but the only silver listed on eBay currently is $1200. Nice pickup!

That was a helluva find, but I question the claim there's only 25 of these out there? I've owned two at the same time not that long ago; still very, very rare and hard-to-find.

Did you read the article? It said the first 25 winners received the silver foil. And then a little further down, it reads "It has been suggested that more that 25 of the silver foil variants may have been produced but, whilst this is certainly possible, there is no direct evidence of this."
