This went under the radar while looking through the fanzines, after a closer look, it's the storyboard from the 2nd episode of the first season of Star Trek The Animated Series...

Found the trailer of the episode on YouTube:

This is a great collection. I have a few fanzines of stories that fans wrote using the Star Trek universe characters, but this is way more than I have. Thanks for sharing.

Really love the story board book.

Not comics, but was excited to find these! Herman & Lurch!

Cool! Who made those?

They were licensed by Kayro-Vue Productions who was the production company

that produced The Munsters and The Addams Family shows and were made by Remco.

They also did a set of The Beatles like this. Haven't found a lot of info about how these

were produced and packaged. Just found ebay and other auction site sales of them.

Here's a pic of the other figures that were available:

*Update: Found this pic on FB. Original packaging for these.
"Sticks To Dashboard" decal is interesting?? Did people actually put
these on their dashboards??

I didn't realize what this was until I researched it, but there were only 25 of these made and one sold in 2014 for $250.

That was a helluva find, but I question the claim there's only 25 of these out there? I've owned two at the same time not that long ago; still very, very rare and hard-to-find.

Did you read the article? It said the first 25 winners received the silver foil. And then a little further down, it reads "It has been suggested that more that 25 of the silver foil variants may have been produced but, whilst this is certainly possible, there is no direct evidence of this."

Well, how can you prove there's more without having seeing >25 at once, or having someone directly involved in the manufacturing chime in? Anyways, my point is, compared to other items of apparent rarity of 25 or less, they seem to pop-up much more frequently. Again, I've owned two at the same time, purchased from different venues at different times - just anecdotally opinion.

I see what you're saying. I just posted to clarify that the article didn't state the 25 produced as fact. They admitted it's possible there were more manufactured.

Besides mine, there is only one on eBay and they want $1,200 for it.

I sold one on eBay a few years ago for $880. There was a 9.6 I believe that sold at a huge bargain on the bay within the last year or so.

So I have sorta finished picking up all my GI Joe's from the flea market of my parents basement.... I didn't realize exactly how much I had until now & I'm pretty sure there's at least 1-2 more boxes of them somewhere.

I also spent a number of hours putting things back together to make sure everything is at least 90% complete.

I'll do you all a favor and spoiler tag the 19 pictures here:

Plastic happiness, very cool!!! Is the Defiant complete?

Sorry I never replied to this...

Yeah, the Defiant is about 99% complete. Both figures & cards. 2 broken tabs. 1 that held on one of the laser cannons but could be fixed by plastic welding literally any similarly shaped piece of plastic in that place. And where one of the hinges on the cockpit lid of the upper shuttle connects. Other than that, totally complete.

No comics to show for it, but I had a fun morning at a local G.I. Joe toy show. It was a small show, $2 entry fee in a small room at a local Hilton, but you never know what you may find.

I keep telling myself I'm done collecting G.I. Joes, but I couldn't pass these up.

et8egm.jpg

Bought a big box of random Aliens stuff. I had all of these once upon a time. Now that they're 25 years old, I figured I'd better start putting the collection together around.

And finally, Rom! No accessories, but couldn't pass him up at the price, as the lights and sounds are still working well.
