I nabbed the 8.0 savannah in the heritage auction last night. I think this is a rather underrated book, given that zod is the 2nd most recognizable superman villain to the general public, his role in the next movie, and the general scarceness of these in high grade.

 

Glad to add it to my collection.

Adventure #283 is not easy to find in 7.5/8.0. This copy and the Savannah copy look fairly similar!

Nice addition to your Adventures. #256 is very tough in comparison to most other issues in the #250s.

The blue background looks really deep and rich.

Hopefully you will post a better scan when you receive the book?

This larger-than-life cover impresses with its clear imagery and #328 is not an easy find in nice shape.

Is Superboy playing cricket, because that definitely not a regulation baseball bat.

 

That's such a pretty copy of a cover that will soil easily and show aging quickly. :applause:

Really nice copy. #325 has such an eye-catching cover and subtle colors.

A great quirky feature of this book is the spelling of Jor-El as Jo-Rel.

What a great time this was to be buying and reading comic books!

If I started collecting the Adventure series, would Marvel disown me ? (shrug)

 

They haven't taken my membership card back yet. If I'm questioned, I plan to say that I bought them all as a lot just to get the Kirby Green Arrows.
