Is Batman 227 the "key" Neal Adams Batman book to have?

If anyone finds a CGC 9.2 at the minimum, somebody give me a PM!

This book still eludes me.....

Haganland has one. There's a pic posted of it in this thread where there's debate whether it should be a 9.2 or not. Debate aside, it's a really nice copy with white pages and I liked it enough to ask them if it was still available.

They didn't actually quote me price, but mentioned that the GPA averages trend towards $700 and that they would be open to fair offers.

You can reach them at: haganland@hotmail.com

Based on that book, what would this one be?

This one just popped up on eBay. Really nice raw copy, but it's not cheap though.

And it isn't a "VF/NM" either.........even with a press. lol

Very true. I think I saw that listing 2 minutes after it was posted. Centering is excelllent. Spine has a few too many tics not to mention the back cover crease (which could be pressed, I believe). The page quality isn't the best either.

Come on Kimik, auction off that raw you posted in this thread!!!!!! :cloud9: I never see a ubergraded raw copy.

Hey, that's the same one from Haganland. They did mention they might post it on eBay. Very nice copy and wish I had the funds. Even with the little binder crease towards the bottom, it's got great visual appeal. I love the white pages.

Thanks to the generosity of the participating boardies, we have plenty of great Adams prizes (Comics including a low grade Bats 227, reprint books, original art commission, posters, etc...), but not enough contestants! Last call to get some more players. Wont take you long, costs you nothing to play and you will probably go home with a prize in hand. PM me and I will send you the rules (they are also on page 1 of the contest and prize thread).

Sorry, but that is a keeper copy.................for now anyways. lol In reality, it is probably just a 9.2 at best due to the spine dings.
