Favorite Good Girl Covers...

Consider how different this would be if the book were done by Fiction House:

 

1. Girl would be in the foreground.

2. Girl would be wearing less clothing.

3. Monsters wouldn't be drawn as well.

4. Spear would be going through a monster and not just at it.

5. There'd probably be some sort of animal in the background.

 

Let's not forget that the colors would be faded and probably a miscut book as well... *sigh* ... I love Fiction House, but finding all around quality copies is tough... I'm still trying to find high grade copies of the GGA Wings books. I have fillers, but deperately want to upgrade sumo.gif

I was with you until #6. Matt Baker not being able to draw a girl well? I don't think so.

I love the crime comics with Good Girl or should I say Bad Girl Covers. There are some great covers out there that are inexpesive to obtain.

 

 

I agree CD and this is definitely one of them! 893applaud-thumb.gif

 

The Gerber doesn't do a good job representing most of the Lev Gleasons -- they sport such busy story-telling covers that you have to see them in person to get a true sense of their appeal.
