Needs some minor clean up, detail CT. Trim the casted material back to the original edge, wrap the cover around the interior, then a light press.

 

Lots of little stuff.

Excellent work Kenny! I can see the progress from each of the 3 photos you took. Must've taken quite a bit of time to get to the final touches I would assume. Just great work!

If I wanted to ruin my street cred I would, interior covers are notorious for never really getting shown if extensively restored.

 

But wtf, here is what we had to work with, and where it is to date.

 

It's a wrinkled, unfinished mess....for now. But might give people better insight into whats involved with really extensive work.

 

Once done, and wrapped around the interior it will look like a comic again.
