We have hired & trained additional staff and have added night shifts for encapsulation, QC and shipping. Our staff is now the largest in CGC history and they are working tirelessly to get us caught up. The proof is in the pudding. We are not there yet, but we are making large strides and are committed to turning things around.

My fast track 9.8 pre-screen invoices just shipped.

 

Verified 3/11

Graded 3/25

Shipped on 4/1 and 4/2

 

I don’t know if it was a mistake or not but after my pre-screen went to graded, the word “modern “appeared in the category section for some of the books. It turns out that the books that said modern were the ones that passed the pre-screen and were graded. Since CGC wont post the grades till the comics ship, it’s nice know what books passed the pre-screen. Has anyone ever encountered this before?

My iPhone has not been holding cookies. I was trying it out on the CGC site about 8ish est, by looking at the dealer portal and my invoices. I just tried it again to see if it kept me signed in and was surprised to see that one of my invoices now show as graded that had not been that way earlier.

 

Tells me that CGC is putting in some late hours trying to get caught up.

Yeah, it's been like that for a long time, but you should consider it similar to getting grades when books are "scheduled for grading" - nothing's finalized yet, so it can still change (even though it rarely does).

10/31 modern sub (8 books) went to Scheduled for Grading today.

 

:whee::whee::whee:

 

Hit graded today, 10 business days after moving to "scheduled for grading". At 89 business days and counting since the invoice date.

 

That sub hit graded on 3/5, so 16 days later there has been no movement whatsoever. :cry: At about 100 business days total on this particular sub to this point. I'm betting the influx of ECCC and London books have killed TATs just as they started to improve.

 

4 more days and still at Graded.

 

Is QC a separate category that will show up on the status page online? I've never seen that one before and was wondering if it was new, or whether you can find out if you are in QC only by calling.

 

Shipped today.

 

 

10/31 slow boat moderns came back home today.
