Final hammer with BP was $2868. Not quite $3000, but not too bad either.

I just bought the DC Direct statue of Brave and Bold 28 off eBay today. I'm going to make a display of it with my comic. I've been wanting that stupid statue for so long and it finally showed up as an auction so I was able to get it for a reasonable price. :)

I scooped one of those BB statues as well when I found it hella cheap on Ebay. They don't pop up too often in the reasonable asking price zone, but when one did I had to pull the trigger. :)

I remember getting the BB 28 statue when it came out. Sculpted by Matthews if my memory serves me correctly. A very fragile and difficult statue to get considering that many were broken in the box during the initial shipments. Goes great with the other statues in the series which includes 3D cover creations of Tec 38, Action 252, and Flash 123 (not sure if Death of Supergirl was part of this series).

The boxes have great Silver Age artwork on them. The BB 28 statue is one of the jewels in this series by "old" DC Direct.

Yeah I've heard they are very fragile. I also have the Action 252 one and display it with the comic also. Next I'll have to find the Flash 123 statue on the cheap as well.

Just got my BB28 statue today and shockingly it did NOT get damaged during the shipping process. The seller did an excellent job of cushioning the box inside another box. So it arrived safely. When I get the display all set up with the comic I'll post some pictures. ...very excited!!! :)

Just saw the Constantine pilot.....I totally dig it!!!

But, I have a question that only the boards can potentially answer....so if you'd be interested in helping you're going to have to read something that's potentially a spoiler:

In the pilot, Constantine takes a girl named Liv to her "father's house" which has the Helmet of Dr. Fate inside it. He's given the name Jasper Winter. I can't find a single reference to a Japer Winter and Dr. Fate at all. He doesn't appear to be any past incarnation of that character....

Anyone ever hear of him in the DC universe in any capacity?

I'm soooooo jealous of anyone who is at SDCC!

How much buzz could we really expect 2 years or more ahead of any film appearances and it's already jacked up in value. Let's give credit to the fact it's already appreciated significantly on just speculation they will make a film. Even the confirmation of their intention to make a film is not a firm guarantee it's gonna happen. Give it time it'll get there ;)
