Shark
Wow...that's probably the biggest difference in grades between the outside cover and inside cover that I have ever seen on a CGC double cover issue.

phlippant
Hi, wondering if anyone can give me some advice. I was looking through my old comic collection and found an issue of Thor #339 (during Simonson's run) with 7 covers on it. The issue itself is not very valuable, but I'm wondering if the extra covers would make it worth it to submit to CGC. Would they grade all 7 covers? Is this a record for most extra covers? Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

I'm sure the first grade would be the outer cover, but after that I don't know if it would be the most interior cover or not that would get the 2nd grade. Either way, we'd love to see a picture of the book with the extra covers fanned out.

(This also assumes that there is nothing funny looking that resembles re-assembly...you never know what strange things previous owners do to their books.) phlippant
Thanks for the replies. Here it is; wasn't sure how to best take the picture. If I just opened to the last cover it looked like there were only 2 covers. Let me know if you want to see a different angle. phlippant
Thanks! I may try and sell this at some point, but right now I'm just trying to get an idea of how much this thing is worth (if anything). On the one hand, it's not exactly a high demand book; on the other hand, I'm pretty sure it's a one of a kind item. The question is how much of a premium the uniqueness adds to a book you can probably get for a dollar. I've been watching eBay, but haven't come across too many triple+ covers that have actually sold. Have any of you heard of a book with more than 7 covers? Most I've seen is 4. There was a CGC Graded Marvel Giant Size Book on ebay last year that had 9 covers on it. Can't remember the tital though. Think there is a thread somewhere in the Bronze Age section about it.
