BlowUpTheMoon
I recently picked this up. Not familiar enough with all of the Pedigrees to know if this is one. Any ideas? Mr. Lady Luck, badback83 and Point Five

Wow, that is cool. Is Katz still alive? If so, other than Torres, I can’t think of any other PCH artists still alive. Nice score! badback83

The Weird Science 12 (#1) is worth some heavy sugar, nice score! And at least this binder has the books inside sheet protectors, instead of punching holes in the books themselves, as was often done. Was good to see raw books in the auction, which I generally prefer with PCH if possible. I always thought the Atlas horror covers scared the mess out of me more any any other publisher. They were not up to EC artistic standards, but they made me not want to buy them! 😵 mysterio

Popular Post mysterio
A ComicConnect pickup for me. Very glad to finally have a copy of this. Seems more common than the #94 but I always get blown out on every copy I have seen at auction. Stood tall on this one, paid the price, but got a copy. One of like eight MT books I have picked up in the last week, so I guess I'm kinda serious about this title now! bc, Grottu, Raze and 17 others

I don't have a scanner. These aren't super high-grade like many of the museum pieces that I've seen here recently on the boards, but for what they are, Farrell pre-code horror, the condition is stellar. They all belonged to a single collector who spent many, many years putting togeter an Ajax/Farrell collection. One reason I am very excited to have these books is that they are in very similar condition with vibrant colors and good page quality. Each has a cover crease, but not much in the way of edge tears, chipping or chunks. It's very difficult to put together a nice run, and unless you're a multi-millionaire, you have to go for books that are less than NM to do so. And that means finding books with similar defects and appeal. The collector of these books did an admirable job. The first book is Haunted Thrills #5 with what I consider to be a classic skull cover. I love this one... http://boards.collectors-society.com/attachments//592290-ht5.jpg Congrats! Love the skull cover
