wombat
The wife got me a glass display case as an early present. Should look awesome in my office. Now if I could just manage not to break it putting it together I'll be in good shape.
Erndog
So, someone asked earlier about scale, so I thought I'd make a chart that I can reference in the future. I also decided to use the pic to illustrate the reason why I argue that 1/4th scale is the best value overall, and why I can no longer bring myself to buy Bowens, irrespective of how good the piece might be. I selected pieces available on Sideshow's site right now, and they're all typical for the scale as far as size and price go: Funny, I was just thumbing threw this thread to see some old statues and saw this post and I agree with you entirely. I can not bring myself to buy Bowen anymore. Even kotobutukiya is a tough sell for me. The 1/4 Premium Formats from Sideshow just trump all the rest and I've become obssessed lately. Expecting a couple for Christmas

Are they plastic or metal? These are real Bowen statues made of resin, sculpted, painted then "chromed" by creations n chrome in California. RalphN
I should be receiving this bad boy within the next month Where can I get that? XM studios makes them but was a limited edition of 800 and sold out in about 30 min months ago. The thing that makes there statues hard to acquire is that they are based in Singapore and are not allowed to sell to the U.S. There are a couple stores there that will ship to us though. They do have some kick statues in the works though, right now they are in the process of doing an X-Men line.
