This 9.8 makes my copy look like used toilet water...but the double imaging is not on my book, it was a scanner glitch.

Hello all.  I've been busy, but not gone.  Managed to snag this one from the HA last night.  Paid too much but had to in order to get one of these....

I've picked up a few others as well, including a Suspense #5, so now I have 3-12 of that run.  A #2 is never gonna happen but maybe a #1 someday.  Pics to follow in the upcoming days.....  :)

Just went back and looked at this completed auction... the book sold for $55,200.

Saw that, the book was mesmerizing but not that mesmerizing! Congrats to the new owner, the colors are blazing on that copy.

This sold for only $5K less than the highest graded Suspense 8, I know this is "only" a 9.2 but the next highest copy on the census is a 7.5 so it could be the best copy out there (the Mile High is MIA to date). My favorite Cole cover. :cloud9:

I was watching that one too. Last I looked it was at 900.00 and I had dreams of it being mine.  A 4.0 just sold on HA for 4,320 and a 2.5 went for 3,600 last week. So you're price was about right considering those two recent sales. :peace: Congrats

$4525  hm (shrug)

Maybe it's no one's all-time-favorite Blue Bolt cover, but for a sharp HG copy that's nowhere near the crazy highs we've seen lately.
