From the site:

"A CONTEMPORARY RE-IMAGINING OF MARVEL’S ORIGINAL AND LONGEST-RUNNING SUPERHERO TEAM, CENTERS ON FOUR YOUNG OUTSIDERS WHO TELEPORT TO AN ALTERNATE AND DANGEROUS UNIVERSE, WHICH ALTERS THEIR PHYSICAL FORM IN SHOCKING WAYS. THEIR LIVES IRREVOCABLY UPENDED, THE TEAM MUST LEARN TO HARNESS THEIR DAUNTING NEW ABILITIES AND WORK TOGETHER TO SAVE EARTH FROM A FORMER FRIEND TURNED ENEMY."

So it would seem that they are trying to explore the Negative Zone, and things go haywire. Keeping fingers crossed that Annhilus shows up at the end.

I've gotta say, this FF flick as of today has me more intrigued than Avengers Part Deux or Ant-Man. hm

I really dug the trailer I like them all young and seeing Johnny tinker around on cars was cool. I don't have high hopes but that wont keep me from seeing it regardless and hoping they pull it off. this title deserves a frnachise the other 2 ff movies were so badly written and horribly acted (except for Torch)

Yeah I liked seeing him working on cars too

I'm much more optimistic now about this movie

They want to take chances they should have him morph into She-Hulk.

Not sure what you guys are seeing that I am not.

Trailer looked by far one of the worst comic books movies of all time!

But it's "from the studio that brought you X-Men: Days of Future Past" !!

I :roflmao: when i saw that.

I just watched that movie. Hated most of it. Just like the last 2 FF movies I will never see more of this film than 10-20 minuteson FX.

My official position on this is... the trailer didn't make me NOT want to see it.

I am of the opposite opinion.

+1 if you mean you WANT to see it.

Chuck, did you hear the writer and director talking about their interpretation of the team? I was curious to know what you thought and if they had captured the essence of the FF

Lightened it and sharpened it a bit. He looks charred on one side.

Peace,

I went back to the FF movie site to look at the scene again. That appears to be just shadowing, rather than burn marks on stone. There is one part of the scene where the screen brightens. It may provide a better example.

But even that picture makes me like what they did so far with Ben.

I saw that when I clicked on the About tab. I'm thinking the same thing.

doh!

I just posted that 30 minutes ago in the other thread.

I avoid that other thread. I did not know... sorry.

There was too much, "George Lucas has ruined my childhood" "Fox Studios has ruined the Fantastic Four" going on when it started... so I avoid it now.

Anything change?

Anything change?

People potentially changing their mind this may not be the train wreck they assumed. It will take a few more trailers to convince folks otherwise. But this was a good start.

Come on in, fellas. The water's just fine!

So Dr. Doom is an internet blogger? He is going to hack us all! :ohnoez: So I finally saw (if it's true) the answer to my question. Neither Johnny or Sue are adopted, they just have different mothers.

It's probably going to have a flashback showing Doom to be responsible for the Sony hacks. :roflmao:

If so, I think it might be the best part of the movie. Honestly though, if they hadn't messed around with the family dynamics for whatever reason, I think I would actually be looking forward to this movie.
