sacentaur
An all time favorite Wood cover of mine. He was known for drawing with two light sources. Indeed - also visible on the WS 13. I admit to being a big Feldstein fan (EC's only left-handed artist, I believe). Rec'd this classic today from a boardie:
vaultkeeper
Here's another example of Wood using light to create a striking cover using reflected light.

IMHO one of the most graphic depictions of a shrunken head in all of Precode horror! Those sewed up eyes are so disturbing!
vaultkeeper
Here's a Wood Tales from the Crypt. It's an odd way to swing an ax, but a great cover. Edited April 17, 2015 by vaultkeeper

mrmitchgro
I would oprobably also vote for eccomic and bedrock. Although, now that I've said it, I would expect a barage of mouth watering, beautiful, slabbed Gaines file copies... Not me. Not even close. I've sold a bunch of mine in the last year. Just kept the favorites. Stinking flipper! Really, sell those beautiful Gaines copies? I'd have to need a kidney pretty bad to part with those... When I bought my house I sold my Bat #1, Supe #1, Cap #1 and others but kept my EC's! I used the money to help pay for this... ...I figured I would have a chance to rebuy the ECs, but I might never get another chance at the cover art. I'd say that's a pretty decent reason to sell a few books! Always enjoy seeing that cover (thumbs u
sacentaur
Here's one of my favorite Jack Davis covers. I just picked up an old label CGC 8.0 at WonderCon earlier this month, partly because of the great cover and also because of Williamson's 1st EC story. High grade EC's are pretty plentiful but that cover is one of a kind and breathtaking!

Robot Man
Love that one Steve. I would be hard pressed to name my favorite EC but the first one that comes to mind is Crypt #23. The one with the guy trapped in the crypt with the corpse coming out of the casket. That one really shook me up when my uncle gave it to me as a kid!
