This is the list I posted on another thread, from the EC Yahoo Group, of the EC original art that was detroyed in a house fire a few years back. Aside from these, the rest of the art should exist (although I have specific pages I've been searching for over a decade, with no luck). Current values would be tricky.

The three pages at the top of my want list are the last page of "Mausoleum" by Craig from Vault of Horror #29, the last page to "Surprise Party", also by Craig from Vault #37, and the last page of "Squash...Anyone?" by Ingels from Tales From The Crypt #32. Oddly enough I missed out on two chances to buy the Ingels page in 2004/5 and now it has disappeared. If anyone knows where any of these are, I would appreciate any leads!

It's a history of the EC comics, and the HBO series. It has interviews with Feldstein, Jack Davis, Ray Bradbury and some other EC alumni. It's very good, but I personally don't think it's worth 75 bucks. There's too much time wasted on the television show, and not enough on the comics.

Would imagine, anyway, that CSS 17 and 20 have breakout potential. SSS #6, 12 sort of the same thing, though #6 gets a lot of attention lately.

There are a ton of EC classic covers that I love, not sure what exactly would bump them to classic cover status vs all their peers -- but I've always loved Crypt 23 and 24. :)

Crypt #23 is probably my favorite from that title

Mine too, but it doesn't have that over-the-top sensationalism of a CSS 22.

CSS 17 and 20 are good candidates.

VOH 35 may be be the next contender - it doesn't show you the gore, but instead takes the Hitchcock-ian approach (you know what's coming). Being a Christmas cover too, the contrast is quite striking.

Good call on Vault 35, sacentaur -- should've thought of that 'un. :)
