Like HS mentioned, I think the 30 day thing could suck the momentum from the thread. I understand the rational, but what if people could reset the clock by offering something else and having that taken. I have a lot of things that I would like to offer but I'm not able to give them away for free right now. :sorry: I picked up a collection last night that fell in my lap with a bunch of nice trades :baiting:

If you can't afford to play the game, don't participate. Simple as that. Come back when you can.

 

I love playing poker but that doesn't mean I'm going to go to a casino and sit at the high rollers unless I can afford to play those high stakes. So you'll see me with the regular guys playing for what I can afford. That's it, simple as that. If later on I can afford the high stakes, I'll head over but in the mean time I'm where I should be.

 

Let's stop making excuses if a boardie can't afford to offer something in similar value.

 

There's always the PIF thread can go and offer their precious drek.

This reminds me of those schools where if one kid cant play a certain game in the interests of fairness no one in the school is allowed to play.

I don't now many times I can say it's NOT the value of things but the care put into offerings. If you offer up something YOU would want and it's something you're kind if on the fence about giving up and will miss it - you're on the right track. (thumbs u

 

It's nothing to do with high stakes or an expensive price tag to join in. The only reason we are here is a few abusing the system. Whether it is a conscious effort to make out like a bandit or lacking the common sense and self control to NOT take a very generous offering KNIWING you can't or won't reciprocate. :insane:

I'm guessing your the relative that doesn't give Christmas presents to family that can't afford to give you one.

That doesnt mean pure giving doesnt happen-Chip got a she hulk slab no strings attached. I offered to donate to Meeklo but that got snapped up.

I'm not saying that at all, half the people are all or nothing on here. we have a system in place to sift out the scum.

 

If i do accept an offer, I'll post multiple items to give on different levels.

 

I'll offer some items that I enjoy for whatever reason, that are at different tiers ($50, $100, maybe even a $300) so that most people have a chance to participate. I don't know how many people have said they would love to participate but feel they would be ridiculed for what they have to offer.

 

What i'm saying is that if this is supposed to be a thread about giving to others, and there is a system in place to strike the people that are taking unfairly, then people from all levels should be able to play, not just the wealthy.

 

 

But then again, what do i know.

Dont blame us. Blame the greedy junk donkeys that ruined it for the people you're talking about. I guarantee no junk donkeys, we'd be happy as hell to do it your way.

I agree with you. And I hope this system works in keeping people honest. I would hope more and more joined and they weren't all big ticket, expensive offerings. Just fair, thoughtful offers and not just something dug out of the $.50 bin out of obligation with zero true sense of giving.
