I'm selling a copy that I haven't even listed yet on my site in 9.4 for 2k. I also may be selling an FF 45 in 9.0 that I had no intention of selling but since I may be headed for an upgrade, Im probably selling that too as part of this deal for 2500.00.

I was asked about the books and was made the offer sight unseen on both. 4500 for both? Sounds like a new high to me. :o

Im really attached to the FF 45 though.

Wow nice. Those prices would put these books on a totally different level. So you report to GPA then I take it?

Oh and thanks for the ups on my sig line. :shy:

Sorry but I missed the reason you are telling us this ? There's been too much pump and dump around here lately. First, we have fake sales. Now, we have 'maybe' sales ?

I don't think FF 36 really has much of an appeal, but of course this is not going to stop people from believing it's something they "must" have. Like sheep they will buy it and of course the price will rise.

Keys related to an Inhumans IP on the big screen is going to be the first appearance of the group and first appearances of members of the group. And anyone with any investment savvy knows to stick to the top tier of keys related to any IP and not deep dive.

FF 45 is the first real appearance of the Inhumans as a "team", it says so right on the front cover. Yes Medusa and Gorgon appeared before that but it is a bit like the individual members of the Avengers appeared before they became the Avengers. When Ant Man and Wasp started their ill-fated relationship is that 1st Avengers or "Avengers prototype"? I think not, even if Wasp did come up with the name.

If you consider the Inhumans as a race, then who really cares that Medusa was the first or that the 1st app. of the Kree is FF65 or the Skrulls FF2 or the Badoon Silver Surfer 2? No one.

Inhumans keys in descending order of importance (IMO):

FF 45 Inhumans as team, Lockjaw Karnak Triton Crystal etc, brief Black Bolt

FF 46 Black Bolt

FF 47 Maximus

FF 36 Medusa, (Frightful Four)

FF 44 Gorgon

Reverse the last two as per preference. Someone with more depth of knowledge of the canon could maybe flesh out the top ten, you have 1st Terrigen Mist and new wave Inhumans in the mini-series plus BB and Medusa's son Ahura and things like that.

I would say the first appearances of any of the "royal family" will get some interest, to varying degree depending on they are used in the ultimate movie that comes out, with 45 being the most significant for obvious reasons.

I would put the list more like this though, with the most upside from a speculative point of view in 36 and 47:

FF45

FF36

FF47

FF44

FF46 (Because it's not a first appearance, just basically a cool cover)

-J.

I would definitely put FF46 in position 2, 1st full appearance of the King of the Inhumans. Show me a precedent where the 1st app. of the superheroine partner (in this case queen) is worth more than the superhero.

Agreed. I'm not so sure I'm sold on his appearance in FF 45 as being a wolverine-like "cameo only" though. I feel like a person can have their bases covered as far as that's concerned by having the 45. Even CGC doesn't call his appearance in 45 just a "cameo". His involvement in the story was not to the extent as the other inhumans, but he is still clearly introduced as part of the group in 45.

-J.

In the last panel only...

Yeah, we had this discussion like last week. Wolverine/Hulk 180/181 is basically identical to Black Bolt/FF 45/46

It's interesting how CGC does not note it similarly on the 45 as on the hulk 180.

hm

-J.

It seems to me to be more of an FF48 scenario, where Galactus is referred to the entire book but you don't see him until the last page. Yet, it's his "1st appearance".

I was actually commenting on the FF46 that just sold for 1415 on Comicconnect and when someone responded that they too were watching the auction, I told them that the price was on the next sale was going up further than that most likely.

I've been a boardie long enough and to imply or to hint that this may be a pump sale or a fake sale is a bit insulting considering you don't know me. I don't cheat people, nor do I approve of the unsavory people out there who do. I feel like the rest of you about that subject I'm sure. As far as a "Maybe" sale, then yep. We have them too now. :acclaim:

I, like most.. find that these prices are always fascinating with movie tie-ins and makes for some funny conversation. THAT is the reason you were asking about. :hi:

I've made the decision to provide them with sales figures as of this week.

Except GPA doesn't work that way; they don't take sales data from just anybody who decides they want to report a sale.

Well regardless of whether that sale goes through or it gets reported to GPA or not, the CC sale is still a remarkable price jump for the 46 in what, just a month or two's time?

Don't be silly.

They only take unsubstantiated data from a subset of dealers.

Truth be told, I'm not sure what exactly is in GPA these days.

- Heritage and E-Bay. Yes.

- Clink No

- ComicConnect. Somebody on the boards said no. Didn't they used to report?

- Pedigree Comics (Schmell) I'm not sure. Again. somebody said no but my last purchase was reported.

- Most dealers seem to not be reporting ? From personal experience, nothing I have bought at my last two conventions was reported.

Ive contacted someone there and after our conversation, he told me how it should be submitted. Since i do have a site and he is aware of that, id guess they probably have to verify the info and then once verified, they will accept submissions. Just going by one of the associates from the tech side of things over there at gpa. Im sure others know more about the process than i do. I just stick to what he told me works and thats good enough for me.

based on your question of which site I own, I'm wondering if I should put something above it like " check out my site" or something above it on my sig line. Does it appear to look like I'm advertising for someone else possibly? I'm open to feedback on that. I've had that question a few times already. I must be missing something. :sorry:
