And say what you want about Stan, I absolutely love the way the words on these covers elevate the drama and pathos. Just classic stuff. Also, today for the first time I realized that Kirby's depiction of the arc of Thor's hammer on this cover doesn't make any sense. Just try to imagine how this is supposed to work with that cape.
