The original artist died in the early '70 but the series started itself in the late '60's with the original writer. In essence this team has put an album (48 pages) out every year since I was born. Kind of a constant in my life if you wish.

Buddy Longway - count: 10 - Here's the western series for this batch. The stories are minimalist in this series. The author is more interested in the bucolic and naturalistic message in the struggles of this mixed (caucasian and native american) family circa 1840's (?) in the American West. Wonderfully nature illustration therein. The author, Derib, is better known for his longer running series about Yakiri, a native american youth and Little Thunder his horse, another series centered on animal life.

Marzi - Count: 10 - Childhood memories of the title character in '80's Poland before the fall of the iron curtain. Very well put together but soooo text heavy. Took me forever to complete these 230 pages since it's autobiographical and the image in many ways only support the text and don't carry the story themselves.
